1. Data we collect
- Account data. When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile information from Google to create your account.
- Receipt content. The details you enter to build a receipt (such as items, amounts, dates, and any business information you add). If you have an account, saved receipts are stored so you can access your history.
- AI request data. If you use paid AI drafting, the prompt and transaction details you submit are sent to Anthropic to prepare the requested draft. Do not include information that is not needed for the receipt.
- Billing data. If you subscribe, payment is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full card number; Stripe processes it and shares limited details (such as subscription status) with us.
- Messages you send us. If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email, and message so we can respond.
- Usage and device data. We use analytics to understand how the service is used (for example, pages visited and general usage patterns).
2. How we use data
- To operate the receipt maker and render, store, and let you download your receipts.
- To provide paid AI receipt drafting when you request it.
- To process subscriptions and manage billing.
- To respond to support requests and improve the service.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
3. Third-party processors
We share data only with the service providers needed to run Get Receipt. See our full Subprocessors list for details. In summary:
- Supabase — authentication and database (stores your account and saved receipts).
- Google — sign-in (OAuth).
- Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions.
- Vercel — hosting and platform analytics.
- PostHog — product analytics.
- Resend — transactional and contact email delivery.
- Anthropic — AI processing for AI-assisted receipt generation (a premium feature).
We do not sell your personal data.
4. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To make a request, email support@get-receipt.com and we will act on it in line with applicable law.
5. Data retention
We keep account and receipt data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time.
6. Security
Access to stored data is restricted using Supabase Row-Level Security so that account data is scoped to its owner. See our Security page for more.

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions and analytics. See our Cookie Policy for details.
8. Changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. We will update the date above when we do.
